The latest issue of Today's Chicago Woman Magazine is out now and it features the 2010 Readers' Choice Awards. The locally produced magazine asked its readers to choose the best in 2010's shopping, dining, drinking, personal care and personalities. Obviously, for this website's purpose, we will focus on the media personality winners. Here is a list of the first place winners. Local Radio Personality: Eric & Kathy Radio Station (AM): 890 WLS Radio Station (FM): 101.9 WTMX Local TV News Anchor (Male): Mark Suppelsa Local TV News Anchor (Female): Marion Brooks Local TV Station: WGN-9 Clearly, the mostly female readership of Today's Chicago Woman love WTMX/The Mix, just as the recent Arbitron ratings have shown that Chicago's women overwhelmingly love the station. In every category that had a WTMX or WTMX-related personality listed, that person won. The station won for Best FM Station, their morning show hosts won Best Radio Personality, their morning show newsman won for best Local TV News Anchor, and his nighttime place of employment won for Best Local TV Station.
